SUMMARY
Plans, directs, and facilitates coordination of trauma service providers to ensure the most efficient, consistent, and expeditious care of each individual who may experience an acute injury.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Individual works independently to perform daily job duties, with oversight by the CBRAC Board of Directors. Participates in strategic planning to determine goals and scope of programs for CBRAC-U.
Assists in the planning, development, and implementation of all trauma related programs, including public events, shows, and public access and special programs.
Develops and coordinates with the treasurer the oversight of the CBRAC budget, income, and expenses in accordance with Department of State Health Service contract guidelines Collaborates with the Board of Directors and committee chairs in development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the Trauma System Plan of CBRAC.
Disseminates the programatic contractual obligations of CBRAC to the Department of State Health Services.
Prepares reports as required by the contractual obligations of CBRAC to the Department of State Health Services. Collaborates with the injury prevention chair and committee to develop marketing strategies and products related to special exhibits and events.
Develops and submits grant proposals and implements programs funded as a result of successful applications.
Works with community groups, organizations, and others to increase awareness of the institution as a resource, and develops collaborations and partnerships to extend organization programs and audiences.
Oversees production of materials to ensure compatibility with institution's public programming mission.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience as relates to fmaces, budget development, and bookkeeping.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to develop and maintain a budget.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
